This build rightfully claims the title of IGOW4’s Most Valuable Whoop. Despite its weight surpassing the average 75mm build, its responsiveness and smoothness are unparalleled. It endured over four months of daily IGOW challenges with ease before the flight controller started showing signs of wear. Without a doubt, it stands as one of my most durable and dependable builds to date.

Frame

Fractal 75 Kit – Use the code “Tyrantt” for 10% off

The frames are by far the most durable frame you’ll ever use. I’ve been using a prototype for the last 2 years and the carbon frame has never once broke. Once you fly with one of these frames, you’ll immediately want to add them to them to the rest of your fleet!

Flight Controller

Happy Model X12 – ELRS

I was very hesitant to try this flight controller due to how much it weighed, but boy did it surprise me! Combined with the power of the QuickSilver preset, this thing flies as smooth as butter. Seriously, it is by far the smoothest whoop I’ve ever flown. And that’s not even the best part, this thing is durable as hell. It endured 4 months of daily bashing before it started to show signs of wear. It’s worth the weight!

Ducts

Mobula 7 v4

I pair the Fractal 75 Frame with the Mobula 7 v4 Ducts. These ducts are not as durable as the v3 ducts, however, they are still durable, much lighter, and performs turtle mode significantly better. I usually repair broken ducts with welders glue and never have to worry about that spot breaking again.

Lipo

GNB – 530mah with A30 connector

This 12 gram lipo packs a real punch and can give you up to 3.5 mins of flight time with an aggressive freestyle. The A30 connector is where the real magic happens – it allows you to plug into an A30 or preexisting BT2.0 pigtail.

Motors

Tiny Whoop 27,000kv 0802 Hex

These hex motors weigh less than the standard motor and really pack a punch. These are also perfect for aggressive freestyles that need the ability to stop on a dime. What really made me fall in love with these motors is the fact that they have PCB, which allows you to easily shorten or repair the motor wires as needed.

Props

Gemfan 40mm Bi-Blades (1.0mm)

I’m a big fan of Gemfan bi-blades and have been using these for the last couple of years on all of my 75 builds. They are super smooth very responsive, which allows me rip as hard as I can

Camera

Foxeer Pico Razer – DISCONTINUED

This camera has amazing image quality and people are often surprised to learn that it’s an analog camera when they ask about it. Unfortunately, this camera is no longer being manufactured.
