Inz

Follow him on: YouTube and Instagram

Background: Inz got started in FPV flying after watching some videos on YouTube while off sick from work. With some extra money on hand, he decided to give it a try. After borrowing a radio from a buddy and spending around 10 hours in a simulator, he quickly purchased his own gear from a local dealer. That was just over a year ago.

Achievements: A standout moment in Inz’s FPV career is placing 34th in IGOW4. What makes this achievement remarkable is that he started flying only four days before the competition began. Inz spent half of that time just getting all his gear set up and his Mobula6 airborne, demonstrating his ability to quickly adapt and learn under pressure.

Favorite Tricks: Inz enjoys performing the Split-S and Mattyflip, bringing both excitement and style to his freestyle rips.

Training Regime: Inz flies primarily when he feels like it, usually 2-3 times a week and mostly indoors. His training focuses more on stick time rather than pushing for specific tricks. When learning a new trick, he tries it a few times during each session but still incorporates his normal tricks to avoid burnout.

Overcoming Challenges: IGOW was instrumental in improving Inz’s flying skills. The weekly challenges provided new tricks to master, which he practiced in simulators before attempting them in real life. This approach helped him learn and execute new maneuvers effectively.

Equipment: Inz uses a Radiomaster Boxer with AG01 gimbals for precise control and HDZero goggles with a TBS Fusion module for clear and immersive freestyle experiences.

Favorite Build: Inz’s custom 65mm whoop at 18 grams:-

  • Center Sensitivity: 200/150/200
  • Max Rates: 1000/1000/1000

Tips for Beginners:

  • Fly for fun and don’t force it; take your time.
  • Spend time flying indoors to get comfortable with your rates.
  • Adjust your rates over time to fit the “feeling” you want for maneuvers like rolls.
  • Higher rates with some curve in the middle of the stick can offer more forgiving control.
