Here’s a quick reference guide for this week’s lesson. It’s important to check the full details below, as this guide only serves as a quick reminder of what the tasks are for when you’re out flying and doesn’t include the fine details.
- Split S in both directions
- Cradle from both sides
- Inverted Rewinds – Perform a Inverted flip rewind in any direction, and a perform an inverted roll rewind in any direction.
- Optional: Building Dive any structure over 50ft (it does not have to be a building)
- Optional: Impress Moe the most with your best dive
- Optional: Pilot of the Week Criteria: Most interesting dives

Lesson Tasks and Tutorials
To complete the challenge, you’ll need to successfully accomplish all the main objectives listed below. Each objective is designed to help you refine your skills and improve your control. For a full tutorial on all of the Lesson 3 tricks, please watch the trick tutorial section in the Lesson 3 video.
- Task 1: Perform a Split S in both directions in the same clip
- Task 2: Perform a Cradle in both sides in the same clip
- Task 3: Perform a Inverted flip rewind in any direction. Include an inverted roll rewind in any direction in the same clip
- Optional Bonus Challenge: Building dive down the side of a 50ft or higher structure (buildings, trees, etc)
- Optional Moe’s Prize Challenge: The building dive that Moe personally finds to be the most interesting will win a custom-built BNF, crafted by MoeFPV himself.
- Optional Pilot of the Week: This week, our judges will be voting on most interesting dive to determine who will become our NewBeeDrone Pilot of the Week for Lesson 3. Tune in to the Pro Whooper Show on August 14th to see who will win the title, receive a $40 NBD Gift Card, bonus leaderboard points, and be featured on ProWhooper.com!
Video Requirements
- Deadline: Saturday, August 17th at 8am PST
- Time Limit: The time limit depends on if you include a building dive in your video or not. This is to accommodate long dives that take time to perform. Please try to keep your video as close to 60 seconds as possible so that we can show off more videos during the live stream.
- If you perform a Building Dive: 90 seconds.
- If you do not perform a Building Dive: 60 seconds.
- If you use the logo: +5 seconds
- Objectives: Please note that while each main task must be completed in a single clip, you don’t need to combine all tasks into one continuous clip. However, it’s an added challenge to combine as many tasks/challenges into a single clip as possible, making it even more impressive to watch.
- Passing the Challenge: To pass the lesson, you must complete all 3 main tasks. You do not need to participate in the bonus or prize challenges.
