Background: Akira has been flying drones since childhood but discovered FPV in 2018. The thrill of his first flip ignited his passion for freestyle, where the only limit is his imagination.

Achievements: Akira has been competing in IGOW since Season 2, achieving second place in the last two seasons. He also claimed second place in the TPW Season 1. Despite his very impressive track record, he humorously remarks that he loves being second.

Favorite Tricks: Akira’s favorite trick is the Trippy Spin, a move that first captivated him when he started in FPV. The dream of mastering this trick drove him to overcome numerous challenges. He also has a special fondness for Matty Flips, which are simple to learn but difficult to master.

Training Regime: Akira practices precision in confined areas by focusing on powerloops, Matty Flips, power flips, Trippy Spins, and Baranis. These tricks cover a wide variety of stick motions, allowing him to maintain sharp control. His approach to learning new tricks involves deconstructing them into fundamental motions and gradually piecing them back together. Adjusting camera angles and tweaking rates is part of his process when necessary.

Overcoming Challenges: Akira emphasizes patience and effort. He advises newcomers not to rush into complex tricks but to enjoy the learning process and cherish the joy of flying. He reminds pilots that progress often comes without notice, so it’s important to remain focused on mastering basic motions and tricks.

Equipment: Akira primarily uses a Radiomaster Pocket radio and switches between Fatshark HDO2 (analog) and HDZero goggles (digital).
