Blastaa’s journey into FPV began after seeing Tyrantt’s progress video from IGOW3. Inspired by the impressive progression, he joined IGOW4 and worked his way to the finals, ultimately securing the 11th spot. From that point, his passion for FPV only grew. Though it’s hard to pinpoint exactly why FPV resonates so deeply with him, there’s an undeniable connection that just clicks.

s a young boy I always wanted to fly model aircraft and own one of those giant radio controllers with a lot of buttons and switches on it. So, many years later, and after seeing tons of FPV videos on social media, I decided to try out the hobby. I built my first 5 inch quad in Nov. 2022, with the idea of becoming a bad-ass 5 inch freestyle pilot. November being a bad month to start the FPV hobby in the northern hemisphere, I decided to buy a 75mm walksnail whoop. The first week or two were just pure horror and I thought I had made a giant mistake with that investment, as it turned out that flying whoops indoors is HARD…

But I stuck with it, and got to the point where I could do some basic tricks like a powerloop and a juicy flick (not realizing it was called a juicy flick at that time). Then two important things happened. First, I decided to go analog with my whoops, which was a giant step up in terms of being able to do tricks indoors. And second, I decided to participate in IGOW4, which was a fantastic learning experience that really helped me improve my flying skills quickly (with a lot of trial and error, crashes, broken gear, sweat and tears, etc.).
